ことのは エピソードが止まらない。
受身形を使った会話練習、楽しかったです！
活用形の練習というと、苦手意識を持ってしまう学習者さんも少なくありません。でも、モデル文を参考にしながら、子どもの頃のエピソードを話し始めると、次から次へと話が出てきました。あれもこれもと思い出して、話がどんどん広がっていったんです。
文型練習だけでは味わえないおもしろさですね。
会話を通して初めてわかることもあり、それを学習者さんに伝えると、うれしそうな表情を見せてくれました。
気がつけば、楽しく会話をしながら、受身形の活用も自然と身に付いていました。
会話を通して、引き出していく楽しさ、表現してもらうおもしろさを感じ、会話練習の楽しさを改めて感じました。

The Stories Just Keep Coming!
Practicing the Japanese passive form through conversation was fun!
Many Japanese learners find verb conjugations challenging and may even develop a sense of anxiety about them. But when we started talking about childhood memories, using the model sentences as a guide, one story after another began to emerge. The learners kept remembering more and more experiences, and the conversations just kept expanding!
It’s a kind of fun you can’t experience just by practicing grammar patterns.
Sometimes, conversations reveal things we would never have discovered otherwise. When I shared these little discoveries with the learners, their faces lit up with joy.
Before we knew it, we were enjoying our conversations, and the learners were naturally becoming more comfortable using the Japanese passive form.
Through our conversations, I rediscovered the joy of conversation practice. I enjoyed the process of drawing out ideas and thoughts from learners and the interesting ways they expressed themselves.
