今日の日本は、ようやく涼しくなりました。朝、窓を開けたら「涼しい！」と嬉しくなりました。ほんとに、今年の夏は暑く、そして長かったです。
ところで、みなさん、形容詞の活用は得意ですか？形容詞を使うと、感情や感想が表現できるので、会話を広めることができます。ぜひ、マスターして欲しいと思います。でも、形容詞は、「イ形容詞」と「ナ形容詞」があるので、少し難しく感じますね。イ形容詞とナ形容詞で、ルールが違うので、悩ましいです。
では、本題です。
今日の「ようやく涼しくなりました。」という表現、どんなときに、どのように使うのか、ルールを考えてみましょう。
①季節は夏から秋へと変わり、あつい季節から涼しい季節に変わりました。
すずしい➡すずしく+なりました。
②季節は春から夏へと変わり、涼しい季節から暑い季節に変わりました。
あつい➡あつく+なりました
いかがですか？ルールに気づいて声に出していくと、自然と形容詞の活用が身に付いてくると思いますよ。
では、秋から寒い冬になったとき、みなさんは、なんと言いますか？
このような会話は、誰かと会ったとき、「こんにちは、涼しくなりましたね」「そうですね」と会話のきっかけを作ることができます。
N４レベルの表現ですが、レベルに限らず、こんな表現は早く使えるようになりたいものですね。

However, since there are i-adjectives and na-adjectives, it may feel a little difficult.
Because the rules are different between i-adjectives and na-adjectives, it can be tricky.
Now, let’s get to the main point.
Today’s expression, “It has finally become cool.”
Let’s think about when and how to use it, and what the rule is.
① The season changes from summer to autumn, from a hot season to a cool season.
suzushii (cool) → suzushiku + narimashita (became cool)
② The season changes from spring to summer, from a cool season to a hot season.
atsui (hot) → atsuku + narimashita (became hot)
What do you think?
If you notice the rules and say them out loud, you will naturally acquire adjective conjugation.
Then, when autumn changes into the cold winter, what would you say?
Such expressions can be used as an icebreaker when you meet someone:
“Hello, it has become cool, hasn’t it?”
“Yes, it has.”
This is an N4-level expression, but regardless of level, it’s something you will want to be able to use early on.
