ことのは 動詞のテ形

今日は久しぶりにテ形のレッスンでした。活用形は大変ですね。みなさん、ルールは理解できるのですが、だからと言って、すぐに言えるようにはならない難しさがあります。
問題は動詞の1グループですよね。
これは、もうくりかえすしかありません。覚える歌もありますが、変えるところだけ覚えると、話すときにそれを思い出すことに夢中になり、スムーズに話せないこともあります。
引っ張り出すのではなく、スムーズに口から出てくるようにするためには、会話を通してくり返していくのが一番身に付くと思います。
テ形は、文と文を繋いだり、色んな表現の基礎となります。最初は、「むずかしい・・」と感じるかも知れませんが、使えると表現の幅が広がります。そのため、今日の学習者さんは、テ形を勉強するのを楽しみにしていました。
また、英語では訳せない日本人の気持ちを含んだ表現もありますので、ぜひ、頑張って欲しいなと思います。

Verb te form

Today, we had our first lesson on the te-form in a while. Verb conjugations can be quite challenging, can’t they? Everyone understands the rules, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they can use them smoothly right away.
The real challenge lies with Group 1 verbs, right?
There’s really no shortcut — the only way is through repetition. There are even songs to help you memorize them, but if you focus too much on recalling how they change, you might end up struggling to speak smoothly in real conversation.
Instead of “pulling the forms out” from memory, it’s best to practice repeatedly through conversation until they come out naturally and fluently.
The te-form connects sentences and forms the foundation for many expressions. At first, it might feel difficult, but once you can use it, your ability to express yourself expands greatly. That’s why today’s learners were looking forward to studying the te-form.
Also, there are expressions in Japanese that carry feelings and nuances which cannot be fully translated into English, so I truly hope you’ll keep working hard on them.
