こんにちは。ご訪問ありがとうございます。
レッスンの前のフリートーク。学習したフレーズを使ってするので、復習のようで、確認ができます。
昨日は定番の「週末はどこへ行きましたか？」と簡単に質問しました。最初のころは、「どこ」の意味が思い出せなかったり、「○○へ行きました」と一言でボールが帰ってくることが多いです。でも、昨日は、返答が長かった！
行った場所、どうやっていったか、どれくらいの時間がかかったのか、たくさん教えてくれました。そして、そこから、また会話が拡がっていきました。前向きに学習している姿勢、学習したことが身について使えることや会話を楽しんでいることなど、それぞれが成長を実感する瞬間です。ほんと素晴らしいです。
そんな姿を見て、私も、レッスンの進め方を振り返り、改良点を探したりしました。
その瞬間に満足することなく、そこからもっとよりよい方法を見つけ、日本語学習のサポートをしていきたいと思います。

Growth from a single sentence
Hello, and thank you for visiting.
During the free talk before the lesson, we review and check understanding by having the learner use the phrases they’ve studied.
Yesterday, I asked a simple, standard question: “Where did you go over the weekend?”
In the early stages, learners often can’t recall the meaning of “where,” or they simply reply with a short phrase like “I went to ○○.”
But yesterday, the response was much longer!
They told me where they went, how they got there, how long it took—so many details.And from there, the conversation expanded further.
Seeing their positive attitude toward learning, their ability to actually use what they’ve studied, and their enjoyment of conversation… each of these is a moment when we can truly feel their growth. It’s really wonderful.
Watching this, I also reflected on how I conduct my lessons and looked for ways to improve.
Rather than being satisfied with that single moment, I want to continue finding even better methods to support Japanese learners.
