ことのは どっちがいいの？

日本語やその他の語学のレッスンを受けたことがある方、これから受けようと考えている方いらっしゃると思います。みなさんはグループレッスンとプライベートレッスンのどちらが好きですか？
どちらにも、メリットデメリットがあると思うので、どちらがいいとは言えませんが、ご自身に合う方を選ぶのが１番ですよね。
プライベートだから、スキルが伸びるのかといえば、そうとも言えず、結局は自分次第なんだと思います。学習仲間がいる方がモチベーションが上がったり、刺激になったりするときもありますし、どちらも試してみて選ぶとか、自由に使い分けるとのも良いかもしれません。
実は、「ことのは」には、コースがありません。３ヶ月、６ヶ月という縛りをつけずに、続けたかったら続けてもらう。やっぱり大変と思ったときにはすぐにやめれるようにと思っています。あまり自分にプレッシャーを与えず、ストレスなく続けれるのがいいのかなと思っているからです。お互いにです。
レッスンの形も同じです。続けられるように、自分にストレスをかけず、自分に合ったスタイルを見つけるのが１番ですよね。
私が新しい言語を学び始めたときは、プライベートからでした。ゆっくり学びたいという思いからでしたが、話せるようになると、皆で受けるのも楽しいいと思えるようになりました。性格にもよりますね。一応シャイな性格です。

Which one is better.

Some of you may have taken Japanese or other language lessons before, while others may be thinking about starting. Do you prefer group lessons or private lessons?
I believe both have their pros and cons, so it’s hard to say which is better. What matters most is choosing the style that suits you best.
Just because it’s private doesn’t necessarily mean your skills will improve more quickly—it really depends on you. Sometimes, having study partners can boost your motivation and give you inspiration. It might be a good idea to try both and see what works for you, or even switch between them depending on your needs.
Actually, at “Kotonoha”, we don’t offer fixed courses. There are no commitments like three or six months. You can continue if you’d like, or stop whenever you feel it’s too much. I think it’s best to continue without putting too much pressure on yourself, and to keep learning without stress. That applies to both of us.
The same goes for lesson styles. To keep going, it’s most important to find the approach that suits you best and doesn’t add stress.
When I first started learning a new language, I began with private lessons because I wanted to take things slowly. But once I was able to speak, I found group lessons enjoyable too. Of course, it depends on one’s personality—I tend to be on the shy side myself.
