ことのは 目的をプラスして話す日本語表現

入門からはじめたクラスも、レッスン5課まで進みました。早速でてきたフレーズが「何か食べに行きませんか？」でした。
このひとつのフレーズで、3つの文法を勉強します。びっくりです。
今までは、「モールに行きます。」 「大阪に行きます。」 と勉強してきましたが、これからは、「モールに 服を買いに 行きます。」という少しレベルアップした表現を学習します。
「買いに」って何でしょう？みなさんは、どこかに行くとき、目的がありますね。モールや会社に行くのにも目的がありますよね。
「モールに行きます」の中に、その会社や場所に行く目的を割り込ませて表現します。
フレーズだけみると難しいかもしれませんが、テキストのイラストと一緒に伝えると、イメージも早く、スムーズに理解できました。
私が、場面を作るのを考えていたら、学習者さんが理解して話し始めるという、喜ばしい場面もありました（私、しっかりしなくちゃ）。
形は ➡ 買い（ます）+に いきます。
目的の「買います」の「ます」は落として 「買い + に 行きます」 です。
どこか行くときは、目的がありますよね。
ぜひ、皆さんも使ってみてください。
会話がひろがり、コミュニケーションが楽しくなると思いますよ。
私だったら、「わぁーいいですね、私も新しい服欲しいです～」などなど、話し始めてしまうもしれません。

Adding Purpose to Your Japanese Expressions

The class that started from the beginner level has now progressed to Lesson 5. The phrase that appeared right away was, “Would you like to go eat something?”
With this single phrase, we study three different grammar points — surprising, isn’t it?
Up until now, we have learned sentences like “I’m going to the mall.” and “I’m going to Osaka.”
But from here, we move on to a slightly more advanced expression such as:
“I’m going to the mall to buy clothes.”
What does “kai-ni (to buy)” mean?
Whenever you go somewhere, you have a purpose, right? Even when you go to a mall or your workplace, there’s always some purpose.
In the sentence “I’m going to the mall,” you insert the purpose for going to that place.
If you look only at the phrase, it may seem difficult, but when explained together with illustrations in the textbook, learners understood the idea quickly and smoothly.
While I was thinking about how to create a situation for practice, one of the learners understood it and began speaking on their own — a delightful moment for me (I really need to stay sharp!).
The form is:
➡ kai(masu) + ni + ikimasu
You drop the masu from the verb kaimasu (to buy) and say:
kai + ni + ikimasu
Whenever you go somewhere, there’s a purpose behind it.

I think your conversations will expand, and communication will become more enjoyable.
If it were me, I might respond with something like, “Wow, that sounds great! I want new clothes too!”—and just keep talking.
