ことのは 助詞にチャレンジ？
こんにちは。 ご訪問ありがとうございます。
学習者さんの中に、助詞がわからないとき、とりあえず、知っている助詞を言いつづける方がいます。最後に「正解！」と言うと喜んでいます。
このときは、なぜその助詞かわからず言っています。それはわかっているのですが、とにかく、知っている知識を出すということは、褒めてあげたいと思っています。
すぐに、考えることなく「わかりません」と言って、教えてもらおうとする姿勢より、私は好きです。どういうときに、どんな助詞がわからなかったのかインパクトも残せているので、本人も次はきちんと言えます。
助詞に限らず、正しいことを言おう、間違いたくないという思いから解放され、チャレンジすることに積極的になって欲しいと思います。そして、私も、学習者さんがのびのびと学習、発言できる雰囲気を作っていきたいと思っています。

Challenge the Particles?
Hello, and thank you for visiting.
Among my learners, there are some who, when they don’t know which particle to use, just keep saying the particles they already know. When I finally say, “Correct!” they are delighted.
At those times, I understand that they are saying the particles without knowing why that particular one is correct. Still, I want to praise them for bringing out the knowledge they do have.
Personally, I prefer this attitude over quickly saying, “I don’t know,” without thinking and waiting to be told the answer. It also leaves a stronger impression of when and with which particle they were unsure, so the next time they can usually say it correctly.
This applies not only to particles. I want learners to free themselves from the pressure of “I must say the correct thing” or “I must not make mistakes,” and instead become more willing to take on challenges. I, too, want to create an atmosphere where learners can study and express themselves freely and with confidence.
